Kampot Restaurants,  Kompot is regarded by many visitors as the best place in the country to see and enjoy the traditional rural Cambodian way of life. People are friendly and the town seems less commercial than other Cambodian cities. As a result, the choice of restaurants is rather limited. But what there is, is interesting.

Offering simple yet tasty and unique home-cooked food. The bread, yogurt, cakes and cookies, ice creams are all home-made. Good coffees, soups, sandwiches, quiche, muffins and daily pasta specials. The gates are often closed but the doors are open. Just walk in.

Friendly, popular western-managed bar and restaurant on the riverfront road. Very good Western and Asian food at very reasonable prices. Good value, good cooking. Daily seafood specials, draught beer, the best BBQ Ribs. Ice cream and sweets. Currently the only place in town you can get a draft in a pint glass. English Premier League.
